Rush

The crashing sounds of linemans pads leading to a hole where your elusive back streaks down the field avoiding tacklers and cruises for a touchdown! Welcome to the excitement of the rush play. In the rush play a quarterback or running back will try to advance the ball down the field themselves. While the OL is trying to block away the incoming Defense Linemen, the rusher is looking for his hole in the line, or makes his way to an outer route. Once the rusher breaks through the line there is only the Defensive Backfield (CB / SS / FS) to keep him away from scoring for a Touchdown. Fast, agile and strong rushers are a must have for each team.
