Yes, exactly this engine is now active in all games. What does it provide?

11 men punting/returning

11 men on each side of a punt play are now involved into the gameplay. It is as easy as that. This will cause less breakthroughs by the returners, and will provide a more realistic punt play.

Offense and Defense AI added to the gameplay, it is all about guessing the next play/action of the other side

In Football it is all about finding ways to mislead the other side of the ball. To do this, you have the brains on field, sideline and in the box. However, there is no way for Coaches to react during the gameplay itself, the men on field have to do this. With the Defense and Offense AI we added a way to achieve exactly this important part of the Football game. There is no way for the manager to control it, except on having viable tactics set (Gamesettings, Tactics/Playbooks) and having skills on the field (the tactical skills play a role here).

Kickoff/returning STT/STBL enabled

We wrote about this before, so we will keep it short. Be prepared for more players to be involved during Kickoffs and Kickoff returns.

Kickoff ruling adapted to NFL ruling for ball spots

There were some changes on the ball spots for Kickoffs, Touchbacks and so on. We adapted these changes, so the engine will play based on official NFL ruling again.

Kickoff / Punts out of bounds, based on kicker/punter skills

Exactly, the Punter Kicker might, if he is "smart/dumb" enough, kick out of bounds. While this is a nice thing on Punts, it is a bad thing on Kickoffs, resulting on a worse ball spot for the returning team.

Kickoff / Punts added Fair Catch ability based on the Kick/Punt returners skills

When the returner is seeing a "wall of players" in front of him, and there is no visible way through it, he might now take the Fair Catch, just to protect himself, and not to get hit so hard.

Better/smarter blocking including TE and FB on rush plays, especially on Blitzes

The TE and FB are an important part of the Blitz protection for a Quarterback/Rusher, and with this change they play their role now.

Better/smarter blocking including FB on pass plays, especially on Blitzes

The FB can now protect his QB from Blitzes, so he takes his role, and goes for the pass blocking/sack protection.

Depth Chart has now a first-string setting, to control the substitution in a better way, First-Stringers are preferred on substitutions

You could set "First stringers" in your Depth Charts, and these players get preferred over "non first-stringers", as long there is no need to do it different, on injuries as example.

You should check out these new things during a few scrimmages. We give you 10 Credits for free right now, so have fun in testing the new stuff.
