As the subject tells, we are done with the season-rollover. Now we will see the Draft running, a view smaller updates will be enabled, and we will see the changes coming for the new game simulation engine.
A these will happen during the next few days...
Right now, you have to check your roster, if you meet the Salary Cap. Have a look at the Top, the second from left. There you will see the current Salary you pay for your players, per week. If this exceeds 10,500,000 you are in trouble. The League Authority doesn't like when a manager is exceeding the cap, and will act on each training. There are a few warnings, so you can act easily. If you ignore the warnings, the Authority will cut a few guys from your roster, and this will not only cause Superstars waving good bye, it will harm your full roster, and will - possibly - make it impossible to play for the title. So be careful, you got warned!
If you check your Dept Chart, you will see there are 2 new positions, called STBL and STT, which translates to Special team Blockers, and Special Team Tacklers. These guys are important for the Kickoff and Kickoff return game.
The Special Team Blockers (STBL) are basically helpers for the returning team, you should use guys from the OL, FB or TE to make this job. Blocking skills are mandatory, and Speed and Agility will be helpful. 9 Guys operate, so fill your DC with at least 9 guys, better 11 or 12, just in the case of injuries. There is no Out of Position penalty for guys playing STBL.
The Special Team Tacklers (STT) are the opposite of the STBL, their job is to assist these 2 Gunners in bringing down the Kick returner. The STT will face the STBL and of course the KR himself. Speed and good Tackling abilities are the key for success. 8 players are on the field, so fill your Depth Chart for STT with at least 8 guys, but we think you should add around 10 or 11 at least, in case of injuries there is your reserve. There is again no Out of Position penalty for players being STTs.
More details about the updates are coming soon...
