Only this season, though, as our QB1 announced that he will not come back after this one. We had hoped he plays longer, but those choices have to be accepted. We’re glad that we did not go the „fire all the losers from last seasons wildcard blunder“ route, thus being able to try one last time with the current set-up to make a trophy happen. And then we’ll see what happens after that… we already were half a million bucks over the cap after the roll-over and had to let go two very good players. So the strategy will be to push the remaining squad to the max and then rebuild with QB Osei that we drafted two seasons ago. Not the best conditions to compete with the Magpies longterm, but it is what it is |

We hope everyone had a good draft?
Ours was quite good: #1 is a STR50 SPE50 INT50 TW42 20yo LB, #2 a STR50 SPE50 TW45 Sure Tackler DL, even #3 is a STR45 (yellow) SPE50 EXP 3* Defender that will likely be a good to great CB in the future. Pretty neat. At the end of the preseason we played a game against the Magpies today, and if it’s by any means a measure for what to expect we can look forward to some exciting games this season.
