Welcome to Season 70 in the Broncos league
We'll be entering spring this season, finally (at least where the Devil Dolphins reside), and the days are already getting longer. Sometimes even rays of sunlight break through the clouds and we're enjoying the warmth they provide. The early flowers are showing up and nature get's into position to explode again. The Devil Dolphins themselves are still some steps away to explode, too, but they are getting there. After re-evaluating the state of the squad the front office came to the conclusion that the current composition of the team may be good enough to win some games this season. But it will be those players who currently are the second guard that can truly go for championships in the future. The coming draft will be another chance to add interesting prospects to this group. The board is set, although it will be revised again to see if the order really fits the needs of the team. And then it is, as always, luck. Have a great season, everyone |

The draft this season seems less then stellar. Every draft cannot be 4* but I just don't think I'll gain any players that may make the team. I am hopeful for a surprise guy, hope springs eternal.
I am also hopeful one of you guys switch to my Division, I have seriously considered switching from the NC North but I really don't want to leave a division of bots. |

I do like being in the division of the Zone and working on catching up to them someday... but that comes with frustration, too, and I'm already pondering if I really like that Playing in a division with you may not raise my chances all that much, though... Your Devil Dolphins will be in the thick of it soon enough, Maybe your Dolphins will finally end the Apes stranglehold.

To do this I'd have to stay in the AC East, or I'd not be able to play them in the Superbowl... 🤔
I just looked it up: If the Devil Dolphins switch divisions we'd play the same AC division this season (West), but we'd have to go against the stacked NC South. I do like the chances better to go to the postseason if we stay where we are, frankly Last edited on 2024-02-27 08:39:14 by marti_fx |

I hope everyone had a good draft?
In the first round we picked Nanji Cisse, 21 year old RB from Mali. He is a promising blocking back who will hopefully develop into a great asset of our squad. Another back joined the team in round two as we picked 21 year old Wei Lô, a FB stud from Taiwan who is a track star and has a lot of talent. And in the third round, after our choices for the first two rounds were picked right before we could, we finally got a DL. Tuimasi Tamanisau from Micronesia will supplement the aging core group on this position. All three draftees will need and get a lot of time to develop fully, but we’re confident that they will be valuable contributors to a successful run for the Devil Dolphins down the road. Today we’ll have our second preseason game and play the Michigan Weasel Traders for the very first time. They joined last season, but are led by a manager that already has gathered experience in the Sea Devils Region of RZA. They will have to fight the same uphill battle that we fought for the last 3+ seasons, and only time will tell if they have the patience and perseverance, as well as a high frustration tolerance, to become a good team. And after that we start our next attempt to annoy the Litany Zone and hope that we can continue the upward trend Last edited on 2024-03-01 18:04:04 by marti_fx |

As expected we lost our first encounter with the Litany Zone this season, but we took another step forward in closing the gap to the #1 of our division. Maybe we'll get them when we have them visiting in week 15
