My suggestion would be to remove MOTY altogether and replace it with Divisional Rivalries instead?
My idea would be when you're playing your Divisional rivals, the homefield advantage is ignored and so it's up to the Managers tactics and the quality of the players that determine the winner? This would make the 6 matches much more unpredictable instead of 1? 2? or at most maybe 3? This would also stop numerous teams MOTY'ing the same "few" teams each year - for example being MOTY'd 6 times in a season and only having 1 MOTY to use in your defence against this is ridiculously unfair, and... This would compare more realistically with real life NFL compared to the little "I want to win this match" button we currently have. I'm am wearing my bullet prove vest and am ready to be shot down....  |
