I have notice a trend toward the 'home' team winning... which is completely feasible but it seems a bit unfair in championship games. In both the NFL and college and even in most high school division decision championship games are played on a neutral ground with as little advantage to either team as possible. I'm not sure if this is possible in the current engine but it would be interesting and less predictable (and probably more fair) to have no advantage in these games.

I don't know if it is just a matter of a small sample size, but going through each of the leagues championship games I have noticed none of the teams that played 'on the road' won. It just seems rather strange to me I guess.

Games cited:
Broncos...........0-66
Cornhusker......17-45
Crimson Tide....3-38
Hurricanes........13-41
Longhorns.......17-30
Rebels..............17-31
Seminoles.........7-30
Sooners............13-49

This is not what the data is showing though. In my game I had no change, even with training in my rating from the conference championship to the bowl while my opponent increased their rating .3 in 2 real time days. I am almost sure I boosted my training that week as well.

Maybe every team with a better record and point differential is just better but statistically speaking there would definitely appear to be a strong correlation toward playing at home and winning. My point was not simply whatever you code to not give a flat bonus... moreso the idea that upset happen in real games but seem completely no existent here even among very closely rated teams.

You do know right, that overall team ratings are affected by all players on your roster, not just those in your depth chart?

If you fire some bad players, then your rating goes up. If you have loads of lowed rated players that aren't actually in your depth chart, it keeps your rating low.

By bringing in two draftees and my physical condition and team chemistry being lowered due to various reasons, I've lost 2% overall.

In game ratings are dictated by the players playing. I have run games with all backup scrubs and have seen a huge swing down in the in game rating. But yes, the overall team ratings are for the whole roster but that is not what I was analyzing.
