I offer this apology to my fellow managers but I am unable to write a complete game by game due to being struck with a case of the grunge (fever, coughing, stuffed nose, aches & pains). So I will simply pick the winners ... the Gold Miners, the Blue Bunnies, the Madness & the Islanders. Keep in mind my judgement may be clouded due to the grunge.

A quick look at the 62nd Clash Conference Championship games
Puna Punatics Vs. Guinness Drinkers United This is the 6th meeting in 11 seasons these two will play for AC supremacy. The Punatics have a very healthy +9.0 Overall advantage and will try to repeat as the AC Champion. But as we all have seen never ever count Petes Drinkers out. Alaskan Gold Miners Vs. Mannings Madness This is the 3rd Championship game in 4 seasons for the Miners & hopefully the 3rd time is the charm. The Miners hold a very slight 1.5 Overall advantage which will likely be even by the Madness home field. These teams seem to play fun and exciting games and I don't think this time will be any different. Best of luck to the final 4 |

Season 62 League Championship Game
Alaskan Gold Miners (15-4) Vs. Guinness Drinkers United (17-1) The 6th seed Miners have their work cut out for them. Even though the Miners hold a slight 2.5 Overall advantage Petes offense is top notch (Passing #4, Rush #2) & his defense (pass #12, rush #1) is always tough. Witness his 2 game playoff points scored 111 to 9 allowed. The Gold Miners passing offense is middle of the pack (#13) but the running game is decent (#4) while our defense is strickly middle of the road (#17 pass, # 6 against the run). All in all the Miners will have to have a turnover free game, sprinkled with some good luck. The Miners will use a heavy rotation of D-linemen & Linebackers to try & take advantage of the Drinkers lack of O-line depth. Here's to having a fun, exciting & close League Championship

Hey Coach, how do you determine the strength of the teams defence? To me it seems the Miners have better rated rush defence than the Drinkers?
Just looking at the rating so I'm interested in what criteria you are using... |

I simply go to the standings & mouse over each team & it shows where they rank in all 4 categories. |
