Ok, someone help me out. I will number my questions so please number your answers so know which one corresponds to which question. Thanks.
1. Does STBL & STT stand for "Special Teams blocking & Special Teams tackling" respectively? 2. If yes, then it's assumed you put in your best blockers on the blocking team & best tacklers on the tackling team? 3.If so(2), why is it all my blockers are doing all the tackling on Special teams (OL, TE, FB), are STBL & STT backwards? 4. When there is a KR or PR for touchdown all you see is "OL miss the tackle, OL miss tackle, TE miss tackle... K miss tackle". How do you correct this, blockers are not good tacklers? 5. Hence, which is the punt return team, STBL or STT? 6. Who is the kickoff team, STBL or STT? 7. In the scenario of an onside kick who takes the field STBL or STT? 8. Can STBL or STT directly affect results if your setup is wrong? Sorry for making this a quiz guys, but I'm really stumped. I won a friendly game with the assumed setup of blocking & tackling but my linemen kept making or missing tackles on Special Teams. I want them to block, so I switched STBL & STT & got stomped on opening day. |

Hope the below helps dude: - 1 - yes 2 - yes but only if they are also fast too - type stbl and stt in the forum search and you'll find some more info there 3 - definitely not backwards but this maybe because punting doesn't use the STT or STBL 4 - this is probably on a punt return too - I think you'll have to use a 4wr formation when punting then the 4 wide receivers are replaced with 4 Gunners, this will give you a better change of tackling. Until you create you own Playbook the default playbook wll use maybe Big I or I formation?? therefore only 1/2 gunners so this might explain the missed tackles. Don't do you own playbook until you are definately ready though... 5 - see 4 6 - definitely the STT 7- there is no onside kick at the moe 8 - I've see it affect me winning or losing a few times at the beginning because I put 5 OL's in my STBL and 5 slow DL's in my STT thinking they would need to be at the LOS and wondered why the opposition was getting TD's regularly. Choose Speedy players with high blocking/tackling and this will work. Gav
