So far in Season 13 there have been some surprising games, the most notable of which would have to be the two upsets that the Dolphins Pisa took against Southeastern University Fire and the Creepers. Great season so far, and looking forward to some more great game!

Well there'll be no surprise in the next Dolphins Pisa game when they smash the Timelords.
I'm also looking forward to some good games - but maybe next season. |

Haha, well the Dolphins are a very well established team, but I think that the Creepers can make a major push for the division title, this season is their best shot at it in quite a while.
In other parts of the league, there are currently 6 teams with 8 wins, pretty scary for their opponents! |

Well today we had a thriller of a game between the Creepers and the Barossa Vines. The Creepers took a 6-0 lead on two fgs, but the Vines came back and scored 21 straight to take a commanding 21-6 lead. The Creepers fought back hard and scored 34 unanswered points to win the game 40-21. Great game by both teams, it was a fun one to watch!

The NC conference is full of excitement - well there is one playoff spot left up for grabs and I'm clinging on to it by my fingertips, hoping the Vines can't snatch it away.
Meanwhile in the AC conference everything is settled and there is nothing out of the ordinary. Wait a minute! Did I just see that the new boys Berinsfield Hornets beat the Florida Gators? Wow, that's thrown the cat amongst the pigeons. |

Wow - where did that come from? Was not expecting such a convincing win (27-9) against the Vigilantes - in fact I was not even certain that we could get the win but that stands us in good stead for the last playoff spot in the AC.
We are 8-5, one game clear of Forza Italia (bot) and two games clear of Barossa Vines. This is how the remaining games look (in my opinion): Forza: Two bot games which they may well win but then they finish with a game against Northern Riviera. That will be a win for the Riviera even if the coach decides to start the players' grandmothers. Forecast 9-7 Barossa: A game at Torchwood - which on balance I think we should win. So a Barossa loss, then a bot game (win) ; then they have a game against Paxtang which I have marked down as a loss. Forecast 7-9 Torchwood: One game (win) at home to Barossa (see comments above); then a game at Arusha (loss); then a bot game (win). Forecast 10-6 and the last playoff spot. |
