Just for the record, I made it to the playoffs before Guinness bumped me off. The teams managers and owners are under investigation for allegedly coming up to several key players for the Republic and blackmailing them and/or using scare tactics to get them to throw the game.
No official statement from the league yet. I'm currently in the process of talking to my players about said incident, and mainly playing damage control. |
