Possible unpopular opinion here. However, I notice that, compared to RZA, RZC doesn't have nearly as many teams. Many divisions barely have enough players for a computer-less playoff, let alone a full season.
Bronco's = 15/32 Cornhuskers = 12/32 Crimson Tide = 26/32 Hurricanes = 10/32 Long Horns = 11/32 Rebels = 11/32 Seminoles = 13/32 Sooners = 14/32 Obviously Crimson Tide is the only division which doesn't need any help. However, combining 2 of the lesser divisions together would make a lot of sense to promote more competition here. My suggestion: Bronco's = 15/32 Crimson Tide = 26/32 Cornhuskers + Rebels = 23/32 Seminoles + Longhorns = 24/32 Hurricanes + Sooners = 24/32 This evens the playing field out to promote more competition against real people and less against bots. There is still PLENTY of room for new players (48 spots). I would also suggest changing the default division to be the Bronco's (instead of the Crimson Tide) so that the new teams initially see the Bronco's on sign-up (where more teams are needed). Thoughts? |

It's an interesting idea. I think it would definitely help the leagues be more competitive. My only concern is how it would affect the CofC since there would be less bowl teams making it in . Maybe Pete could change it so that the four teams in the conference finals make it in? Overall:

@ Pete : would it be possible for teams individually to change divisions by perhaps making the BOT's open slots during preseason?

There is a division which is automatically displayed, but you can change it to another one. However, 9 times out of 10, the person making a new team doesn't actually see that you can change it.
Really, there is just too few players in RZC for the amount of divisions there are. Pete seems unwilling to make any site changes to make the game more active, so I guess the only other solution is to find more players! |
