Pete,
Something looks badly wrong to me. Let me explain :- To cut a long story short, the Season Rollover was at 03:00 on Sunday 12th January. It is now Friday 24th January, but 3 teams are still over the Salary Cap. For how long will Teams be allowed to remain over the Cap ? .... it seems unfair to me, I thought the "Roster limitations Warning Level" thing was designed to act upon teams that breach Roster Limitations/Salary Cap Limitations? It seems ridiculous that one Team is actually more than double ! the salary cap. Just 1 simple question :- (1) Is anything being done regarding those 3 teams that are above the salary cap ? If so, where can I see the evidence that something is being done .... I look at the Roster History(s) and I see no sign of players being cut, but according to my quick calculations ... there have been SIX training sessions since Season Rollover, therefore I think all of these teams should have reached "Warning Level 4" and Players should already have been cut from their rosters. |

btw .... this is from Warning level 4
"Your roster gets cut automatically, the latest signed team members get cut and move to free agents until the roster limitations are reached" I think this is badly thought out, I think it should be .......... Your roster gets cut automatically, the highest-waged team members get cut and move to free agents until the roster limitations are reached. I think that would be more logical, do you agree ? |

Based on the sent warnings the function is working as it should...
However, latest or highest...the idea was to cut the latest guy from the roster, because this action was typically a mismanagement. If we cut the highest, the "pun" is a different one, and the league Authority should not fulfill the managers duties...but yes, we can argue about that very well |

If we cut the highest, the "pun" is a different one, and the league Authority should not fulfill the managers duties...but yes, we can argue about that very well Pete, One reason that RZC is better (in some ways ) than RZA is The Salary Cap ...... probably the main challenge of RZC is the Salary Cap. Therefore, without strict Policing & Enforcement of the salary cap, RZC becomes a bit of a joke and very quickly loses it's appeal. To illustrate my point .... consider this : We've now played 3 games out of 16 (regular season). 3 teams are still over the cap. That means 3 teams are not abiding by the rules, therefore how fair is it that 3 teams have (so far) completed 18% of the season whilst being able to utilise players that the other 134 managers can't afford (because they're abiding by the salary cap). I think the basic problem is this ..... The rules on "Roster Limitations" are almost an exact replica of those rules in RZA. Fair enough, I don't expect you to reinvent the wheel. However, I think the 'Roster limitations' need to be amended to reflect the fact that it currently appears to be a big (and unfair) advantage to run a Roster over the Salary Cap. However, I'm not going to be negative about this, I'm going to be constructive .... therefore you can expect to see a post in the Suggestions Forum from me about how to improve the "Roster Limitations/Salary cap enforcement" situation. btw ... you didn't answer my question ..... it looks like there have been SIX training sessions since Season Rollover, therefore when does the League Authority start to CUT players from teams over the salary cap ? ...... I've read the manual, and it's strangely worded ... but it suggests that players are cut once Warning Level 4 is reached, surely those 3 teams are already at Warning level 4 ? |

Read my post above yours OK, fair enough .... I'll keep the safety catch on my Kalashnikov for now , but the season clock is ticking and this needs to be sorted quickly in order to keep a level playing field for all, and to prevent certain teams gaining an unfair advantage. |

A last sentence for the order...we cut the last player, since this player should have never joined the team...easy
