We hope everyone had a good Draft. The Devil Dolphins picked two promising defensive players in round 1 and 2, it remains to be seen if they will be able to show up in coming seasons.
This season will be tough: As of now we only have 6 games against bots, which also is great. We start off with an encounter at the Creators team, so chances are quite good that we’ll be 0–1 after the game. We’ve yet to win against the Guinness Consumers in a meaningful game. Maybe they can be our new dragon to slay like the Litany Zone or the BobBoy Magpies before them… We’ll approach the game a little different this season, just to see where it will get us. On significant positions we again mismanaged the succession plan, leaving the squad with very limited options to run the ball effectively. And due to low team chemistry on the WR position passing will be harder in the first weeks of the season, too. It will be our defense that’ll keep us in games, mostly. On this side of the ball we still have some great players available, and even rotation without dropping off too far is possible. Here too, though, lacking team chemistry might sour the first few league match-ups… but we’ll see what happens… Have a good season, everyone ![]() |

Damn. Hid the results, clicked on the game, watched the replay… all is well in the second quarter, we’re driving, are on the opp 4… get stopped, kicked the FG, it’s 3:3. Pretty good, I think.
But then I destroy the entire tension by looking mindlessly at the Depth Chart during the replay… and see that morale of all the players in the game today dropped significantly… 🫣 Damn. Gonna keep watching, though… 😅 |

Not the best of starts for the Devil Dolphins, and today’s game will probably continue the pattern of loss-win-loss, as we face the great Alaskan Musk Ox from the NC South. And even though we probably won’t come out on top, we’ll enjoy the rare pleasure of meeting Coach Bugs (Bug’s? Bugs’?) squad. The Dolphins Defense sure does their job to hold the opponent to just around 20 points… now it’s up to the Offense to go to work
![]() Good luck to everyone today ![]() |

This season is done already. The Devil Dolphins are the worst human led team in all of RZC, and every training a new player gets injured. Today it’s RB1 Alessandro Schuster. It won’t make a difference, though, as we’re not winning the games with him, either.
Good luck for everyone for the rest of the season. |

The regular season 80 is over, and despite losing almost all the games against teams from the NC South the Devil Dolphins made it to the postseason again.
The first half of the season was pretty sobering, as we went 3–4 before hitting the bye-week. Some of these losses weren’t even close. But we started the second half of the season with three wins, before we managed to win a close one against the White Apes. As I mentioned before the season: Maybe our goal for each season should be to win against an opponent we haven’t won against… I had the Guinness Consumers in mind when I wrote that, but the White Apes would do it for that matter, too. Thus this season can be seen as a winning season, already ![]() We followed up this big win with an expected loss in week 14 against the Magpies (because even if we win big in one game, the next one against human competition usually is a stinker), before winning week 16 against the Ice Machine, tying the record again with them this season. It won’t be the last meeting, because we will meet once again in the Wildcard Round of this postseason on Saturday. We probably drop out of contention then, because we can’t win in their stadium. But maybe we can make something happen. What I really enjoyed this season were the many meetings with human opponents, and I think I’ll change to the NC next season to keep on competing with other real managers. Will that lead to more losses and missed playoffs? Probably. But that’s an ok price to pay, at least for now, if I get more challenging games instead. We’ll see. For now: Good luck to everyone in the playoffs ![]() |

Hello Marty & Son
Good post young man, the NC could surely use another great team. I have to say moving to the NC South was a good move for me. Although this past seasons schedule was absolutely brutal for the Musk Ox it was way more fun than playing a bunch of bots. |
