It's Playoffs-Time in the Broncos league, and the Devil Dolphins managed to avoid another encounter with the Litany Zone narrowly. Instead they have to face the Jailhouse Rockers in the Wildcard round today.
However, the results of the last games do not bode well. It's becoming bloodcurdling how the offense finds new ways in each game to turn the ball over. While they threw the ball to the opponent "only" twice in the game against the Magpies yesterday, there were 2 interceptions thrown in the game against PeePee and 4 (!!!) fumbles that they were unable to recover themselves. One would expect that another season of experience would minimize these kinds of mistakes, but instead I have the feeling that it's getting more and more these days. Well, those responsible for the squad are working on a plan with which they are comfortable to face the Rockers. It does feel like gambling, still...

Heya, the Devil Dolphins did it again and won a Wildcard Playoff game. The Jailhouse Rockers were only allowed to score in Q3, although they scored 14 points in 5 minutes and just like that tied the game to start the second half. But then the Defense of the Devil Dolphins continued to shine like it did in the first half, while the Offense did not turn over the ball for the remainder of the game (although they tried).
It was another glorious experience just because it's still not expected that the Dolphins win these kinds of games. Upcoming today is another encounter with the BobBoy Magpies in the Divisional Round of this postseason. It will be the 6th meeting between these two this season, and the Dolphins were only able to win the very first one, when the Magpies visited in the preseason. Curiously enough the league match-up that happened in week 7 was the game that had the closest outcome, with the Dolphins losing by only 3 scores
Maybe we'll be able to confuse and annoy them a bit today, but hopes are not all that high that we'll be able to win. But who knows, maybe something crazy happens... we'll see. Good luck to everyone today |

Season 70 comes to an end, and the Devil Dolphins are on cruise control right now. After the expected loss to the BobBoy Magpies in the divisional round of the playoffs it’s mainly front office work right now, evaluating the squad, defining draft needs and sorting the draft board accordingly. The season brought some interesting insights about the composition of the squad, so there may come so changes to player material.
In the meantime we watch the Bowl game between our division opponent Litany Zone and the White Apes. Sounds familiar? That’s right, it’s the same match-up as it was 4 times in the last 5 season, only once disrupted by the Jailhouse Rockers last season. It’s the fourth attempt for the Litany Zone to stop the winning streak of the White Apes who have won the bowl game since S65. They’ve always come close the last 3 times, and before the season the manager of the White Apes dampened expectations, so maybe this season is THE season for the Zone. It's over.
Great job and Congrats to the new Broncos Champion Litany Zone . Well deserved.
Another exciting championship game and again it was either teams game to win going into the fourth quarter. I have been very lucky in a few that I've won so this one is not such a disappointment.
