I had them both as teams in different leagues of a play by mail game I played way back in the late 90's, early 00's.
Gameplan I think it was called, and this got me into games like this. You posted your instructions by real mail each fortnight I think it was and the GM entered your plan into his computer and ran the game then printed the results and posted them back out to you. Later we were able to email our plans in and get the results the same way. Ahhh! the good old days! |

Hours and hours manually calculating results for my hockey sim. Then printing on an 8-needle (1 was broken) and going to the copy shop to copy and send it. Nah, this is so much better. |
