Well, a 62-3 win against a human manager is a good start. (Did lose a friendly 55-7, so I'm not getting carried away yet). Haven't started on my own playbook yet, but 4 interception returns for scores suggests that maybe the AI is doing something right! Is that typical or just coincidence?
Need to look at the passing game though. 18-28-1-120 isn't too impressive. Can't help wishing I'd chosen a different division. Northern Riviera seem a little dominant... 2-8 now. Reckon 5-11 has to be the goal for this season. |

Lost 9-20. Actually, offense wise, it was 9-6 so I can count that as a moral victory. Slowly hiring coaches and sorting out training more effectively. Looking forward to the draft. Maybe 5-11 was a bit optimistic, though. Thinking I might be better off to wait until after the draft before signing more players.

A bit unrealistic (opponents, up 29-24, pass on the last play and I win with a pick six as time expires?) but no complaints. Passing game seems OK; rushing is a dead loss, especially out of a pro set, so some tinkering to be done there.

Lost 50-6. And both of the teams I have beaten have turned into bot teams straight after, so that doesn't feel encouraging. Same weaknesses again so will keep experimenting. I'd like to get to the point where the league has to find an excuse to ban my QB for 4 games just to give the rest of the teams a chance!

5-11. That target got met at least. Next thing has to be to actually beat a real person. Draft should be fun. Got my list sorted. Signed a better HB yesterday as well. Roll on next season and going 9-7 at least. We'll see. Still can't help wishing I'd gone for that all bot division so I'd be pretty certain of playoff action every season!
