Season 70 once again ended with disappointment it was not without some high points. This was our 15 campaign in RZC & although the season was successful in league play it was cut short despite high hopes.
The season started with 56 players on the roster, the most in quite sometime but we couldn't complete the deal.
When asked if we'll change our approach the answer is no we won't. Management enjoys running their playbook as if it was 'real' football & not play a computer game. Outrageous 4th down attempts to running a 3 defensive back play against 4 wideouts (this on the field would send a coach running down the sidelines trying to call a timeout to prevent such mismatches). So we will continue to play football & keep trying to get past the really big dogs of RZC.

Season 69 will be one of most interesting & challenging seasons yet for the Gold Miners. Some key retirements, a new starting QB, new Punter & a new Kicker. Add 8 games against highly managed teams & 1 versus a new manager there will be no 'gimme' games. We will try mightily not to finish with an 8-8 record. Best of luck to all.

All in all season 61 was a success but still left much to be desired. The Magpies again left us standing at the a l t e r of Championship dreams. The change of direction started last season continues into season 62. Seems the better this team becomes the harder it becomes to win games.
Will there be any big surprises in 62 ?

Season 60 did not go as well as management had hoped. Finishing 2nd in the division, a Wildcard win & then a very disappointing showing in the Divisional round. The team seemed to have become stale. Management sought out a High Oracle for advice & decided to make some major changes.
Season 61 will see a different Gold Miners team on the cyber field. Different personnel, different tactics & a new sense of mission. The 'stale' is gone within the team & a new sense of mission has taken hold.

The Miners are going to be hard pressed to win a 5th straight Divisional crown. The Bunnies are breathing down our neck, they are about at the point where they can beat most anyone on any given game day. The Madness took the NC North & the league by storm last season. They also will be a challenge to stay ahead of. Best of Luck to the Miners & all the RZC teams.

The Silver Miners begin their 4th campaign. No longer an upstart team able to catch opponents by surprise we will be trying to secure our 4th straight Division crown. Our divisional opponents have closed the gap & the league as a whole has grown stronger so challenges will be the order of the day. We will be Mining for a rich vein of Silver victories. We hope to offer all comers competitive and fun matches. See you all on the cyber field.

The Nevada Silver Miners look forward to season 57 hoping to repeat last seasons success. Still fielding the youngest team in the league with a more difficult schedule than last season. The Silver Miners season came to a close against the White Apes. The manager is very pleased this 1st full year of being in charge. After a rough beginning to the season the team began to come together. Finishing the season at 15-4 and a trip to the NC Conference Championship game before falling to the mighty White Apes. Management is looking forward to it's second season with high hopes.
The Silver Miners had the youngest team in the league (22.1), a 19 year old quarterback & a young offensive line. A defense that really came together late in the season & held some potent offense close to the ground.
