Season 60 Conference Championship Game
This seasons Conference Championships are no surprise. All the usual suspects will be on the cyber field. None of the Divisional Playoff games were very competitive as these 4 winners dominated the opposition. Guinness Drinkers United vs Puna Punatics What can be said that hasn't been said about the 16-1 Drinkers. Petes team just wins, Is it his talent ? or Playbook ? Doesn't matter ... the 17-0 Puna Punatics have to find a way to somehow get past Drinking Pete. The Punatics hold a 9.7 edge in the Overall. White Apes vs BobBoy Magpies This match between these two teams have become a seasonal event. The 15-3 White Apes have had a tough time against the 17-0 Magpies the last couple of seasons (& who hasn't). The Great White Apes of the Great White North will have to have a very good game to get past these Magpies. BobBoys Dad seems like the terminator to me. "He will not quit, he will not stop" even if it's just his arm crawling along the floor. The Magpies hold a slight 1.3 edge in the Overall. Guinness Drinkers United Vs BobBoy Magpies The Drinkers 4th consecutive Bowl appearance & the Magpies 3rd consecutive Bowl game going for 3 straight league Championships.

Season 61 Divisional Playoffs
Gold Miners Vs. The Madness 3rd playoff meeting, The other two were wild, fun & Close. Division rivalries continue to be heated. The Miners hold 4.8 Overall advantage. Madness 3rd ranked running game vs the Miners 3rd ranked running defense. The Miners 2nd ranked run game vs the Madness #2 defense against the run. The Blue Bunnies Vs. the Puna Punatics The Punatics hold a 3.5 Overall advantage. The Punatics always the bridesmaid but not the bride. The Bunnies like the Punatics have a chance to get to the Bowl game. The Punatics #5 passing game vs the #4 pass defense. Long Island Islanders Vs. Guinness Drinkers United The 9.1 Overall difference favoring the Drinkers is the largest of the playoff. The Islanders will have to have their absolute best game of the season peppered with some luck. White Apes Vs. BobBoy Magpies The Mighty Magpies have a 2.1 Overall advantage, the closet of this divisional round. The next chapter of this long running divisional foes, Anything less than the crown is not a successful season. The Magpies will likely attack the Apes #11 passing defense with their #2 passing attack. And the Apes will use their #1 rushing game against the Magpies #8 run defense. |

Season 61 Conference Championship game
The 17-1 Alaskan Gold Miners Vs. The 16-1 BobBoy Magpies The Mighty Magpies hold a hugh 10.4 advantage in the Overall & the Miners haven't had much success against them. But ... Hope springs eternal for the Miners & they hope to interrupt the Magpies current string of League Championships. After all the mathematics of odds says one of these games snake eyes will come up for the Magpies. As for the Magpies they just do not rest on past success & are the high water mark for excellence. This game will feature the Magpies #2 pass offense against the Miners #7 pass defense. The Miners 2nd ranked run offense vs. the #8 ranked run defense of the Magpies. The weather Hucknall will be around 40 degrees Fahrenheit with no rain, fine fall football weather. The 15-2 Puna Punatics Vs. The 17-0 Guinness Drinkers United Once again the Punatics should be favored to win holding a 9.4 Overall advantage. But it's just not that easy ... 6 times in 10 seasons these teams have met in the playoffs including 5 Conference Championship games & the Drinkers have won 5 out of 6 playoff meetings. How do the Punatics defeat Petes Drinkers or are they too hoping for snake eyes. Both the Drinkers run & pass offense are #4 so the Punatics may well hold up against the run with a 4th rated run defense. Stoping the Drinkers pass game may be a problem with a 16th ranked pass defense. Dublins weather is great for a Conference Championship game with temp around the 50 degree {F} at kickoff. |

Season 61 League Championship 
Puna Punatics @ BobBoy Magpies The Punatics return to the Big stage & the Magpies are ready & waiting. Should be a great game featuring the top two Overalls in the league with only 1.9 difference between them. This is the 3rd League Championship between these teams in the last 10 seasons with the Mighty Magpies winning the previous 2. The Magpies bring their #1 scoring offense & the Punatics bring a hunger, Best of luck to the Puna Punatics & The BobBoy Magpies. |

A quick look at the Wildcard games.
Alaskan Gold Miners Vs. Sakeo SnakeBirds The Miners management is baffled, a team runs one formation & no others 1600 times, has only 4 Offensive Linemen & defenses can't shut it down ? 
The Miners hold a 4.7 Overall advantage. BobBoy Magpies Vs. Barossa Vines Two very good teams should be a good game. The Magpies hold sway winning the last 10 meetings. The Vines have a very big challenge. The Magpies are +6.1 in the Overalls. Dolphins Pisa Vs. Blue Bunnies The Bunnies have the Overall advantage , +5. The Dolphins from Pisa also have a hill to climb with the Bunnies claiming the last 5 in a row including last seasons Wildcard match. Long Island Islanders Vs. Paxtang Black Panthers 3.1 Overall is the closest Overall of the Wildcard round in favor of the Black Panthers. These have a fairly even series over 8 games, The Islanders have taken the last 2 Wildcard games between them. |
