Should I take solace that in my 41-7 loss to the apes their offense did nothing? Lol.

35 of their 41 points were interceptions returned for touchdowns. kept them to 150 yards of offense. This is similar to last seasons game.

It's the White Apes, You can bet they don't have 'just good enough' players at any position. Thier playbook is tried and true.

If your playing the Apes or the Magpies I don't think you can have any medium or long passes, your team has to play mistake free, I think your playbook should not be going for glory on 4th downs (missing a 4th down counts as a turnover, same as a fumble or interceptions).

Your Monsters have come a long way quickly but playing the Apes or Magpies is like climbing 'El Capitan'. You scored 7 points and that's something to hang on to.

1/4 of the way through the 58th Campaign of RZC. In the AC Conference the Punatics have the early lead, In the NC my Silver Miners lead the Conference.
I suppose in a horse race we'd be rounding the 1st turn.

1/2 Way through ... More or Less

In the AC Conference the El Paso Texans reign alone. But not worry, everybody's still in the hunt.

In the NC Conference The White Apes are kings of hill (Or trees or where ever a White Ape hangs out).

A playoff question

So if the Bunnies defeat the Madness in the last game of the season & they both end at 11-5 who goes to the playoffs ? Bunnies would have defeated the Madness twice this season but the Madness have a higher TDD. Using the TDD is an advantage of a many bots schedule so I'm not even sure it's a good tie breaker (Might be if it was all human opponents). Madness will have played 9 human managers & the Bunnies 10. If Madness wins outright then they clinch the final playoff spot no questions asked. I think most tie breakers are 1) Head to head 2) Vs Division opponents, 3) Vs Conference opponents.
I'm not advocating for either team & no intentional disrespect to either team. I'm just wondering.

Pete doesn't use HTH as a tiebreaker.

What a great Wildcard round of games coming up. We avoided any head scratching moments as the Madness made certain there would be no * asterisks.
I have no idea of how RZC is put together or how easy it is to convert to a different system. I think Head to Head would add intensity to Division games & Conference games as well as being a fairer system to determine tie breakers & playoff spots. I understand in RZA such a system may be untenable but in the much closer knit RZC community maybe it's possible ?

Now the Playoffs !

BobBoy Magpies @ Bradford Ragin' Bulls
Although the Magpies have owned the Bulls in recent history I wouldn't count the Bulls out. The Magpies have a 5.9 advantage in the Overall, but the Bulls are close enough pull off an upset at home.

Long Island Islanders @ Dolphins Pisa
These two teams have a fairly even history, neither team has dominated the series. With Pisa holding a slight 3.2 advantage in the Overall should be a good game.

Mannings Madness @ Monster
The two upstart first season teams that have stormed into the league. Both hollyhhs (that name seems familiar some how) & GuessWhos teams have been put together very quick (no amateurs here). This is the first meeting of these two teams & with only a 1.1 difference in Overalls could be either teams game.

Paxtang Black Panthers @ Puna Punatics
Of all the Wildcard games the Black Panthers have the heaviest lift. The Punatics are a strong team & has enjoyed dominance in the series as well as a healthy 11.8 advantage in the Overall. The Black Panthers will need some lucky breaks & a few mistakes by the Punatics to pull this one out.

Any given Sunday Good Luck to all the Wildcard teams

Divisional Playoffs !

BobBoy Magpies @ Nevada Silver Miners
The Magpies are again doing their Godzilla imitation destroying whatever is in their path. The Silver Miners must be considered the biggest underdog in the Divisional round, facing a 15.1 disadvantage in the Overall ratings.

Long Island Islanders @ El Paso Texans
The Islanders fresh off a nail biting win in the Wildcard will have their hands full tangling with the Texans. The Texans take their unblemished 16-0 season & the second largest Overall difference at 14.9 in the Divisional round. Islanders must also be considered a large underdog.

Mannings Madness @ White Apes
Another game featuring a big Overall difference of 14.7, Madness will have to hope for another insane game this time against a perennial powerhouse. A two safety game (there's a lesson there somewhere) put them over the top in the Wildcard but will need more than that to overcome the undefeated White Apes.

Puna Punatics @ Guinness Drinkers United
This is the closest game on paper but still a 9.0 Overall advantage is no small thing. For the Drinkers their defense of the Championship really begins here but the Punatics are a strong team & won't be a push over. The Drinkers know how to win so this should be a good game.

Any given Sunday Best of luck to all the teams.
