I suggest exactly what is written in the topic.

The possible answers should just be Yes and No, nothing in between, with the question: "Should MOTY be completely removed as a feature from RZC?"

There seems to be quite a majority of managers that would want to erase MOTY, so why not just let us have a poll about it?

I vote Yes. I used it in my first season but have not done so since. I don't like it used against me and I dislike using it against others. I would sooner win or lose fair and square.

You guys know that the RZ-World is only about dictatorship, and Yoda doesn't feel himself bound the results of such polls if the results don't match the personal ideas of how it should be?

But seriously I think that MOTY is creating some ill feeling and it doesn't seem that there is a logical reason for it to exist. At present it feels like it is an "I want to win this game but can't be bothered to work out how. So just let me win" button.

I believe in RZC all teams are equal. In my second season I was competing for the divisional title yet at the same time was beaten by Barossa Vines who had just joined.

I felt that I had no chance against some of the longer established teams but that has rapidly changed and at the same time some of the newer teams have been achieving surprising results against the older teams. You only need to look at the divisional standings to see this reflected.

I don't think I have been in RZC long enough to be considered a veteran but my team is pretty good. Before last night's game I felt assured of a win at home against Dolphins Pisa. Their rating is 70% mine is 75.7% But it was not to be.

For some inexplicable reason my QB seemed unable to complete passes in the first half and we missed a 30 yd FG. Although we picked up in the second half it was not enough and we lost 16-19. I do not suspect a MOTY was used. It was purely bad luck. The team had an off day (or at least an off half day).

Earlier in the season I had a nightmare game against Barossa Vines throwing 5 interceptions. Needles to say we lost that. Again I am not suspecting a MOTY being used.

My point is that it seems by good game planning and player selection any one team in RZC can beat any other. It is as balanced as it can be.

I therefore do not understand the purpose of MOTY. There is no defence against it and it could upset a game plan that you've spent hours setting up. Moreover MOTY can be used against the same team 13 times per season. Why not just let us play football without the hand of the MOTY gods interfering whenever they see fit?

Maybe there is some Yoda wisdom as to why we should have this feature? If so please tell us. If not please get rid of it.

it is part of the games concept. and it seems to me you just overrate the impact of it. and part of the games concept is as well, that a 10% worse rated team might pick a win...if not, we could simply compare the ratings for deciding the winner

I used it once but it makes a mess of your team for several games after, with PC way down. You may win the MOTY game (i didn't) but possibly lose 2 or more in following matches.
Not fussed either way really.
I have won some games this season I did not expect and equally lost some I thought I would have won, I think the league is becoming more competitive

That was (intended to be) exactly my point. I have won games that I did not expect to win and also lost some I thought I should have won.

I feel the league is competitive enough without MOTY. You also make a valid point about it messing up your team for the following games.
